The Latin American Xchange. vs The Bullet Club
This is a crossover feud between Impact and ROH. I’m going to mainly focus on the ROH contingent of Bullet Club. The goal is to tell a story across both promotions TV show. Fans of both will have to watch both shows in order to follow the story. This will also give some national TV exposure to a well respected veteran and his independent promotion.
Both groups will consist of 4 men and 1 woman. LAX Santana, Ortiz, Diamante, Homicide, Kingston. (you can go with another latino wrestler for the 4th spot but I chose Kingston because he’s teamed with Homicide and both audiences are familiar with him. Also-Konnan as the leader of LAX.
Bullet Club - Cody, Brandi, Bucks, Omega
Full Disclosure: I don’t follow ROH or NJPW much so I might get some Bullet Clubs facts wrong. Feel free to correct me. But I understand that Omega is the leader and he’s popular with the ROH fans so let’s go with him.
Keep in mind that while both promotions will be involved, this is NOT Impact vs. ROH. It is ONLY LAX vs. Bullet Club. The final match in the feud will be a joint show that feature Impact and ROH matches. However ONLY BC vs. LAX will be a inter-promotional match.
Also while most fans will cheer for their favorite promotions team, I’ve writing this story with LAX as the heels.
The bullet club is basically a rip off of new world order. Everyone knows that. One person who might clearly take issue with that is Konnan who is the leader of LAX and member of the original new world order.
The story begins with segments on Impact of Konnan putting down the BC as phonies and pretenders. Wannabe thugs. He says that n.w.o. were real thugs. We took it to another level and these punks don’t deserve to piggy back off of what we did. He insults them by referring to Cody as the “the man with no name”. He refers to the bucks as Generation Me and only addresses them as Max and Jeremy.
The BC responds after a few weeks on BTE but don’t take LAX seriously. They crack jokes and make fun of them. Then talk about the bucks upcoming PPV match. That match needs to be the main event of the show. Also there needs to a be an ROH PPV coming up at around this time.
On the PPV in the main event the bucks are in the ring and it looks like they are about to win. Homicide comes out calls their attention to the video screen. On the screen we see a backstage locker room where Santana and Ortiz are beating down Cody. Konnan is talking smack. Kingston and Diamante are holding Brandi and forcing her to watch. Homicide runs backstage and the Bucks give chase, thus losing their match by count out. When they get backstage to the locker room LAX is gone. The bucks go to check on Cody when LAX returns and attacks from behind. They beat down the Bucks and Cody. Konnan says “You wanna be 4 life. We gonna show how we used to do it 4-life. Diamante knocks down Brandi. She rips open the back of Brandi’s shirt so her back is bare. She then takes a can of spray paint and paints LAX on Brandi’s back. The PPV goes off the air with a close up on Brandi.
The next day we see an episode of BTE. It’s just a shot of Brandi’s bare back with the spray paint on it. This was filmed the night of the attack. Cody is just talking about how LAX attacked his wife. He talking about what he’s going to do to them. He talks about they are going to have “Hard Times” in the future. The next episode of ROH TV we see a BC promo. They are now all serious. The are pissed off and vow revenge on LAX. Cody says that LAX has made a mess of things. And since they have a mess, they need a cleaner.
On the next episode of Impact, LAX is gloating. They are the ones cracking jokes now. Konnan says that LAX taught BC some real gang rules. Gang Rule 1 is always watch your back. You guys didn’t know that. Gang Rule 2 is, If we tag it, then it’s ours. So Cody, that means that your bitch belongs to Diamante now.
Then Diamante cuts a promo demanding that Cody bring HER property to her ASAP. She’s going make a lot of money off of Brandi. Etc. She basically implying that Brandi is her whore now and she’s going to pimp her out. The go so far as to make up fliers that look like escort service ads with Brandi’s photo on them and what acts she’ll do. They say for bookings contact Diamante. Then you have guys, non wrestlers, show up at an ROH show and pass these fliers around to the audience. They’ll make there way onto the internet so more people will see them.
On the next live Impact, LAX is in a match and BC shows up and attacks. The seriously injure Konnan as payback for what happened to Brandi. Brandi goes after Diamante while the men brawl. Security comes out and breaks up the fight and BC leaves. Konnan is taken out in an ambulance. On ROH TV a week or two later, LAX shows up and there’s another brawl and security breaks it up.
After this, Impact bans BC from all shows. ROH bans LAX from all shows. The next week Brandi puts out a video online calling out Diamante and challenging her to a last woman standing match. Diamante puts out a video accepting the challenge. But ROH and Impact put out statements saying they will not host the match because they don’t want the two groups causing more trouble. Therefore Brandi and Diamante put out videos asking for an indie promoter to host the match.
After a few days Tommy Dreamer puts out a statement saying he will host the match at House of Hardcore. But he’s not going to have his show turn into a gang fight so he’ll host the Brandi vs. Diamante match but all other members of BC and LAX are banned form the building. He will have local police providing security and all other members of BC and LAX will be arrested for trespassing if they show up.
Both Impact and ROH plug the HOH show on their TV. That is the incentive for Dreamer to host the match. He’s getting free advertisement on both shows. It should increase his ticket sales. The match will stream live on Twitch due to HOH’s partnership.
At the HOH show the two women brawl all over. But both eventually go down and neither can answer the ten count.
Afterward both groups want to face each other. Impact and ROH agree to relax the bans for some matches but ONLY the people in the match are allowed in the building. Impact will do a live event that has Santana and Ortiz vs. The Bucks. ROH will do a show with Homicide and Kingston vs. Cody and Kenny. Both shows ends with the members of the other group showing up and having a brawl. After this has happened twice, ROH and Impact officials call for a meeting to discuss the situation.
After this meeting they announce the first ever Impact/ROH joint show. The main event will be The Bullet Club vs. LAX in Lethal Lockdown. The show will be 9 matches. 4 ROH 4 Impact and the lethal lockdown. NONE of the other matches are crossover matches. This is NOT ROH vs. Impact. It is only LAX vs. Bullet Club. Plus Lethal Lockdown is pretty much war games and Cody, the son of Dusty, has never been in one. This is the next best thing. Plug the show and both promotions matches on both promotions TV and social media for about 6 weeks. With the right date and location, I think this show could sell 4-6k tickets. Maybe more.
There’s one big problem though. In the end, one team has to win the blow off match and one team has to lose. I wonder how you convince either promotion to be on board with this story line if their group is gong to lose in the end. So for that reason, I’m not giving a winner here.
