Allie and Braxton VS The World
This is a storyline that uses Allie and Braxton Sutter. They are a real life couple and come off well together on TV. But since the wedding, Braxton hasn’t done much. I think that if you have an on screen couple then you’d benefit from having them do stuff together.
Cast: Allie, Braxton, Ava Storie, Rich Douche bag
Rich Douche: This has to be a wrestler that has never been in national TV before. I can’t be someone who has been on WWE, ROH. Lucha Underground etc. You have to go to the indies and find a new guy. He has to be able to cut good heel promos. He has to be able to play an arrogant douche bag character. He also has to be able to work well in the ring with Braxton. He needs a good rich asshole name. Something like Maximillion or Prescott or something like that.
I heard about this guy named Maxwell Jacob Friedman. I checked out his stuff online. He’s got the look, and the mic skills to pull this off. Maxwell Jacobson or Maximillion Jacobson would work better as a name, I think, because it sounds more like the name of a rich douche bag. I’m open to suggestions on other people who could portray this character.
Goals: To better use Braxton Sutter and build him up to challenge for a championship, to build up Allie to eventually be champion, to establish Ava Storie as a top talent and introduce a new wrestler to the roster and make him a main player instantly.
One piece of setup: Kongo Kong will play a part in this story. Before it starts he needs to be established with a manager who controls and speaks for him since his gimmick is a wild savage.
PART 1
Week 1: Backstage segment. Allie and Braxton are talking when a delivery man gives Allie a large bouquet of roses. She thanks Braxton for them but he says they aren’t from him. Braxton reads the card aloud, “See you soon, Max”. Braxton asks who Max is. A very upset looking Allie replies, “A jerk I used to know”. She then throws the roses in a trashcan. Later that night, we see a vignette for Maxwell. He cuts an arrogant promo talking about how talented he is and how he’s going to go straight to the top of Impact Wrestling. He also mentions being from a very wealthy family. He then says that he wants to send a special message to his best girl, Allie. He can’t wait to see her again.
Week 2: There’s another vignette for Maxwell. That’s similar to the first. McKenzie then interviews Allie and Braxton backstage. She asks how Allie knows Maxwell. Allie gives their history.
"We dated for a few years. He had a goal of being a wrestler and I supported him. But he became way too arrogant and possessive. He acted like he owned me, like I was his property. I knew he’d just get worse so I ended things. I just want to make one thing clear to Maxwell. If you want to come to Impact Wrestling then fine. I wish you all the success in the world. Just stay away from me. I’m not your girl anymore".
NOTES: It’s important here that Braxton not speak. This isn’t going to be a “Fighting over a girl” story. I don’t want to ever portray Allie as weak or as a prize for the men to fight over. She always needs to be portrayed as fully in control and independent.
Week 3: Maxwell debuts. It’s a squash match. Get a random jobber for him to beat in 3 minutes.
During the match he’s calling out Allie. Sort trying to flirt with her as he’s beating the jobber.
After the match we see Allie and Braxton in the back watching the match on the monitor. Braxton says he’s already annoyed with this guy. Allie tells him to just ignore it. All Max wants is attention.
Week 4: Same thing with Max as last week. Also, Allie wins a squash match.
Week 5: Allie is having a match. Max comes to ringside and cheers her own. He tries to raise her hand after she wins but she pulls away from him. Later she comes to ringside during his match. He leaves the ring while the jobber is down and the ref is checking on him. He gets in Allie's face and gives her a smug smirk. She slaps him and says “I’m not your girl anymore”. Max goes back in the ring and finishes off the jobber and wins.
Week 6: Max calls out Allie. She comes to the ring and Braxton is with her. Max says he’s going to give Allie the chance to correct the biggest mistake she’s ever made. He’s willing to take her back. Allie turns him down. Max says, “I get it. I gotta kick your boyfriends butt. Is that it? Fine, I’ve taken women from guys much better than him anyway. Let’s fight later tonight Braxton if you’ve the guts”.
Braxton says no. He says, “I never have and never will fight over a woman. Allie is grown woman who makes her own choices. I’m glad she chooses to be with me. If she ever decides that she wants to be with someone else, then I’ll step aside. She’s a person. She’s not a trophy for someone to win. So I’m not going to fight you over her. But if you want to challenge me to a match, wrestler to wrestler, well I never turn down a challenge”. Maxwell says fine. He challenges Braxton to a match later tonight and Braxton accepts. Later that night, they have the match and Braxton wins. Max throws a fit over his first loss being to Braxton. Braxton walks to the top of the ramp where Allie is waiting. She gives him a big victory kiss. Maxwell screams, “She’s mine”!
Week 7: Braxton wins a squash match and afterwards is attacked form behind by Kongo Kong. Kong beats him down while Max and Kongo’s manager look on. Kongo is about to smash Braxton with a chair when his manager tells him to stop and leave the ring. Max is yelling to finish the job but Kongo’s manager says, “That’s all you get for free”. They leave as Allie is checking on Braxton.
Week 8: Braxton and Allie aren’t on the show. We see a backstage segment of Max talking with Kongo’s manager. The manager says that Max only transferred 25% of his fee into his bank account. Max says that’s the down payment. You get the rest when Kongo finishes the job. I want Braxton Sutter destroyed.
Week 9: Braxton and Allie come out. Braxton says he isn’t going to run or hide. He’ll take on Kongo anytime anywhere. You set up the match next week. It has to be some kind of no DQ match. I think a cage match would be best.
Week 10: Kongo vs. Braxton cage match. It has to be a brawl. Maybe a little bit of blood. In the end Braxton wins. Max is very angry and tells Kongo’s manager that the deal is off.
Week 11: There’s a vignette from Max. He says, “If I can’t have Allie then no one can. Kongo didn’t get the job done, but I got 50k for the man that takes out Braxton Sutter. I also got another 50k for the woman that takes out Allie”.
NOTE: At this point, you have different people trying to collect on Braxton and Allie. You can have this go for as long as you want. You can use heels already on the roster or bring in heels from outside for short term programs. This is where you’d want to bring in some ex-WWE talents, maybe a veteran who can still go, or a popular independent wrestler. These men and women come in trying to collect the bounties on Allie and Braxton. It leads to matches where Allie and Braxton win. These can be singles matches or mixed tags. With Impact’s multiple partnerships, you can bring in talent from around the world. This is why I call this story “Allie and Braxton VS. the World”. You can bring is many different men and women to go after them. The more they win, the angrier Max gets. Run with this as long as you can keep it hot. When you’ve done as many short programs as you want or can do, that’s the end of part 1.
PART 2
Week 1: Allie is in a match and gets attacked by Sienna and Taya. They beat her down 2 on 1. They tell Max that they’ll get the job done.
Week 2: Sienna faces Ava Storie. Taya interferes leading to Sienna winning. The two double team Ava after the match.
Week 3 Allie vs. Taya. Allie looks to be in control when Sienna attacks. Ava comes out to make the save.
Later that night Sienna and Taya are with Max and they challenge Allie to a tag match in a cage. If Allie wins, they stop trying to collect the bounty. Later we get Allie's response. She says she accepts and will find a partner. Ava comes up and asks to be her partner because she wants payback on Sienna and Taya.
Week 4: Max says he’ll be at ringside for the cage match next week. Later, Braxton says he’ll be there too to make sure Max doesn’t try anything.
Week 5: Tag team cage match. Sienna and Taya vs. Allie and Ava Storie. Max and Braxton are both at ringside. The cage is locked. The bell rings and Ava immediately attacks Allie. All three women beat down Allie. Braxton tries to get in but the cage is locked. Max attacks the ref on the outside with the key. He takes the key. Braxton attacks him to get it but Max hit’s a low blow then hits Braxton with a chair. He holds Braxton’s face against the cage forcing him to watch Allie be beaten down. Eventually security comes down with bolt cutters to get into the cage and save Allie. This is probably a good time to have Allie bleed. Braxton rushes into the cage to check on Allie. Afterwards Max gives envelopes full of cash to Sienna and Taya. He and Ava embrace and start kissing each other.
Week 6: Max and Ava do a promo saying that everything with Ava fighting Sienna and Taya was all a plan to sucker Allie into the cage to be attacked. We learn that Allie suffered an injury and will be out of action for a while. We get a video from Allie and Braxton talking about her injuries. They vow to return and get payback on Max and Ava.
NOTE: Braxton and Allie are off TV for about 6-8 weeks. We get updates every few weeks on Allie’s recovery. In the mean time, Max and Ava are a heel couple. Ava interferes in matches to help Max win. Eventually she helps him win the Grand Championship. That ends part 2. Max can do a short term program as champion while Allie and Braxton are off of TV. When they return, you start part 3.
PART 3
Week 1: After a win, Max and Ava are celebrating when Allie and Braxton return and attack them. They brawl for a few minutes but security breaks it up.
Week 2: Replay the brawl. Allie vs. Ava is announced for next week.
Week 3: Allie vs. Ava The match is thrown out when Max and Braxton start fighting and end up in the ring as well.
Week 4: Braxton vs. Max is announced for the Grand Championship
Week 5: Title match hype video
Week 6: Braxton vs. Max for Grand Championship. Braxton wins the title.
Week 7: Max and Ava challenge Allie and Braxton to a no DQ mixed tag. Allie and Braxton accept.
Week 8: Hype video and promos from each team.
Week 9: If it’s time for a PPV or TV special do the match here. Allie and Braxton win.
That’s the blow off to the feud. The two couples move on to new programs after this.
Max could get a partner and go after the tag titles. Braxton will be a singles defending the Grand Championship. Allie and Ava can go for the women’s title or move into new programs.
